If your battery is in the trunk, the positive cable will attach to another. to use a steel wire brush to remove the rust from the bolt and ensure a proper connection.
Place the new battery in the battery hold-down tray and secure the battery with the hold-down clamp. Spray both terminal ends with anti-corrosion solution. Attach and tighten the positive battery cable (Red). Attach and tighten the negative battery cable (Black).
Hook up to the positive (+) post on the battery first. Connect one end of the jumper cables to the positive (+) side of the dead battery. Always start with the positive .
